Presumably these contain coffee
Usually I order “small coffee black.” The other day at the bookstore I had a mocha, with whipped cream on top, and a little stick of dark chocolate. When I have a coupon, the sky’s the limit. McDonald’s coffee isn’t my favorite, but it’s okay, and I’ll often stop there if I’m traveling. I haven’t tried any of their McCafe offerings, but in an article about McDonald’s coffee supplier this caught my attention: “An espresso marketing push beginning July 13 features free hot or iced mocha beverages each Monday for a month.” I’ll stop in since it’s free, but the bookstore is (usually) quiet, with comfy chairs.
Oh, I’ll be there. If Borders keeps giving out free coupons and McDonald’s starts giving fancy “coffee” away too, then there won’t be anything to stop me. Typically, it’s money that prevents me from becoming an addict. If I’m getting two free caffeinated, high-sugar, desert-beverages a week, I could develop a problem.
I assume drug dealers are familiar with this basic concept….

Hmm… Coffee, sugar, whipped cream, chocolate. That can’t be coincidence – they must be choosing the ingredients deliberately so it will taste good. Now they’re giving them away. Next they’ll bring them to our homes in solar powered traveling dessert carts, probably subsidized by the government.
I hope they bring doughnuts.

You can’t have doughnuts with a sweet drink! Doughnuts are for black coffee with no sugar. I guess you could have one of those awful unsugared doughnuts with a sweet coffee, but why bother? Go for egg and sausage on a biscuit. Gravy if you’ve got it.

You have a point about doughnuts and black coffee, but I don’t think an egg and sausage biscuit works with what’s basically a hot milk shake. With a mocha I’d probably have a croissant, as long as someone else was paying.
If the government-subsidized solar dessert carts serve gravy, we can call them gravy trains.
