    1. It sounds like it’s not a risk after it’s cooked.

      Lots of people eat cookie dough. It’s become a food product in it’s own right, as in cookie-dough Blizzards at Dairy Queen (the article notes that commercial cookie dough meant to be eaten as-is, is heat-treated to kill any bacteria, so the Cookie Dough Blizzard is still on the menu, or at least it isn’t off the menu for this reason.) Also people who bake often eat bits of pie dough or pancake batter.
